Paul Tracey Born in South Africa and raised in England, Paul Tracey has performed internationally, appeared on Broadway and on The Ed Sullivan Show and The Tonight Show. Four of Paul's songs, including “Ugly Song,” were performed on The Muppet Show in the 2nd and 3rd seasons: one on the Madeline Kahn episode, one with Rudolf Nureyev, and one with Milton Berle. His Broadway credits include the show“Wait a Minim!” which he co-wrote with his brother Andrew, that ran internationally for 7 years, and performances in The Rothschilds, The Boy Friend, and in Stephen Sondheim's Company on London’s West End. He has created and performed his one man shows generally for school audiences, but also for libraries, women’s clubs and for family audiences. The California Alliance for Arts Education gave Paul a “lifetime achievement award” in 1997, and in 2001 he received the “service award” from the California Dance Education Association. |
